Job Summary
Pediatrics Behavioral Health Therapist placed within Annapolis Pediatrics’ Integrated Behavioral Health team in Crofton, MD. Responsible for direct mental health services to children and adolescents (ages 5-22) in a collaborative pediatric-primary care setting. Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized treatment plans; provide individual and family therapy; utilize evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT) and parent training; coordinate with pediatric providers to ensure holistic care; maintain accurate documentation and assist with level-of-care determinations. Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field and an active Maryland license (LCPC/LCMFT/LCSW-C; LGPC considered). 2 years of pediatric therapy experience preferred. Flexible scheduling with 1-2 evenings per week and potential for full-time or part-time roles; virtual options may be available based on patient needs. Located in Crofton, Maryland, with opportunities to collaborate across the Integrated Behavioral Health service.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related field
- Current unencumbered license to practice in the State of Maryland with licensure as an LCPC, LCMFT, or LCSW-C. LGPC licensure will also be considered (LCPC approved supervisor will be available on staff)
- A minimum of 2 years of pediatric therapy experience preferred
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Good knowledge of computer systems and applications including electronic health record (EHR / EMR) usage
- Solid knowledge of CBT, DBT, ACT, parent training, or behavior modification helpful
- Willingness to work 1-2 evenings per week as part of a 4-day work week
