Job Summary

Conduct comprehensive assessments, gather health histories, and perform physical examinations for pediatric patients. Order and interpret diagnostic tests to guide personalized care plans while providing health education and counseling. Collaborate with supervising physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care and advocate for patient rights. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, maintain up-to-date clinical knowledge, and support extended clinic hours, on-call programs, and triage calls as required. Refer complex cases to specialists and ensure safe operation of medical equipment. Work Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM at Legacy Central Stagg in Beaumont, TX.

Required Qualifications

  • Current license from the Texas Board of Nursing
  • Completion of program at an accredited school or graduation from an accredited program as Physician Assistant
  • Current Texas state licensure or eligibility for licensure
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience
  • Proficiency in managing multiple deadlines with a strategic prioritization approach

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in FQHC clinic settings
