Pediatrician, Urgent Care (Per Diem)

Pediatric Urgent Care Physician (Per Diem) needed to join Allied Physicians Group in Franklin Square, NY. Provide urgent and episodic pediatric care for infants through young adults in a fast-paced urgent care setting, including diagnoses of acute illnesses and minor injuries, procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal, and collaboration with clinical and operational teams to support patient flow and continuity of care. Responsibilities also include delivering clear communication to families, maintaining accurate documentation in athenaOne EMR, supporting telemedicine initiatives, and contributing to a pediatric urgent care program built to expand access and elevate care on Long Island. Qualifications include an active NY license, pediatric board certification/eligibility, DEA registration, and preferably prior urgent care or ED experience; EMR experience (athenaOne a plus) and strong clinical judgment are valued.
