Job Summary
Pediatric Urgent Care Physician (Per Diem) needed in Staten Island, NY to provide urgent and episodic pediatric care in a fast-paced, team-focused setting. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and minor injuries, performing urgent procedures (e.g., laceration repair, abscess drainage, foreign body removal), delivering clear communication to families, maintaining efficient documentation in athenaOne EMR, and collaborating with clinical and operational teams to support patient flow and continuity of care. Per diem schedule offers shifts aligned with 4:00 PM–12:00 AM weekdays and 12:00 PM–12:00 AM weekends, with competitive compensation and opportunities for additional shifts across Allied locations.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State Physician License
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- DEA Registration
- Experience in Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department preferred
- EMR experience preferred (athenaOne a plus)
