Job Summary
Pediatric Urgent Care Physician needed to deliver urgent and episodic pediatric care in a high-energy urgent care setting for infants through young adults. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating acute illnesses and minor injuries, performing procedures such as laceration repair, abscess drainage, and foreign body removal, and delivering education and reassurance to families. Collaborates with clinical and operational teams to support patient flow and documentation in athenaOne EMR; supports telemedicine initiatives and patient-centered care improvements. Requires active NY license with board certification/eligibility in pediatrics and DEA registration. Shifts offered in the late afternoon to overnight hours with competitive compensation and robust benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Active New York State Physician License
- Board Certified / Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- DEA Registration
- Urgent Care and/or Emergency Department experience preferred
- EMR experience preferred (athenaOne a plus)
