Job Summary
Obtain health and psychosocial histories, perform routine medical treatments and diagnostic procedures, and order/interpret laboratory tests. Develop health promotion and maintenance plans including disease prevention, provide assessment and education for patients and families, and manage complicated patients as directed by the physician. Guide nursing interventions, supervise staff, and participate in peer reviews or medical records audits. Establish priorities and attend team conferences as required.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a license
- Current nurse's registration by Georgia Board of Nursing
- A registered nurse who has satisfactorily completed a formal pediatric nurse practitioner educational program
Desired Qualifications
- three (3) years of experience preferred
- Two (2) years supervisory experience desired
