Locum pediatrician needed for inpatient and outpatient clinic coverage in North Carolina. Duties include managing about 20 patient encounters daily in the office with one hospital admission per day, and occasional nursery coverage. Schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with call coverage one night per week and one weekend per month, shared with a pediatrician, NP, and FM MD. Must attend C-sections when requested by the OB provider; no ICU or critical care duties. Procedures include circumcisions, ear irrigation, minor suturing, and point-of-care testing for strep, flu, and RSV, performed using the EPIC EMR system. Collaborative pediatric care setting with a 6-exam-room facility and onsite laboratory services."
