Job Summary
Obtain medical, social, and developmental histories for infants and children extending into young adulthood. Perform physical exams and immunizations, manage acute and chronic illnesses to community standards, and provide health education and counseling. Complete relevant forms including disability and work restriction documentation. Consult with and refer to appropriate specialists for high-risk or complex patients, and provide consultations to other physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Scope covers newborns to age 20. Requires active California and DEA licenses; board eligible or certified in Family Medicine. Full-time Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no night or weekend call.
Required Qualifications
- Active California Medical License (M.D. or D.O.) or in the process of acquiring
- Active DEA License
- Board eligible or board certified in Family Medicine
- Active Medi-Cal providers
- Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- No night or weekend call
- Only full-time available
