Job Summary
Provide comprehensive pediatric care to underserved patients in Central Texas, including routine check-ups, acute illness management, and telemedicine visits. Collaborate with community partners and emergency providers to determine appropriate levels of care and ensure patient safety. Maintain electronic health records and communicate virtually with colleagues as needed. Board-certified providers with experience in fast-paced clinical settings are required. Required Qualifications
- Board-certified Pediatrician
- Passionate about working with the underserved population and those who may be experiencing significant barriers to care
- Mission focused and passionate about improving access to quality healthcare
- Proactive and thrives in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Comfortable working independently in a group setting while also seeking support and consultation from colleagues
- Ability to interact and collaborate with community partners and emergency medical/psychiatric service providers to ensure patient safety, including whether a patient needs a higher level of care
- Possesses computer/technology skills to efficiently document using an electronic health record and conduct telemedicine visits, as well as communicating/meeting with colleagues virtually
