Job Summary
Pediatrician providing primary care in a Patient-Centered Health Home context for patients from birth to age 21, delivering comprehensive, continuous, and coordinated care including acute and chronic illness management, health promotion, preventive services, anticipatory guidance, growth monitoring, and care integration with the health system. Responsibilities include accurate documentation, meeting productivity and clinical quality measures, maintaining patient records within 72 hours, and collaborating with the health care team to ensure access to care and a medical home. Requires a doctoral-level medical degree or equivalent professional license, California pediatric licensure, and strong communication and educational-materials delivery; involves participation in credentialing, performance improvement, site/partner meetings, and potential sign-on/relocation benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of a Doctoral-level Degree program with a recognized major and a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5; or a valid, active professional license required for the role (Pediatrics).
- Licensed in the state of California as a Pediatrician. Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics may be required or desired in certain positions.
