• •Review incoming reports, e.g. lab, x-ray, EKG, hospital and specialties reports
• •Sign, date and follow-up in a timely manner

• •Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice
• •Outside medical public relations functions

• •Provide oversight of mid-level providers
• •Maintain a close liaison with the PCP of Hospital Services
• •Coordinate the transition of care from Clinic to hospital and back to Clinic
• •Participate in after-hours on-call patient phone calls coverage on rotating basis
• •Identify and evaluate problems, complaints, and symptoms as reported and presented by patients, by patient families, or by staff about the patients
• •Plan and conduct health education for patients, families and facility staff
• •Participate in the facility's quality assurance/quality monitoring program
• •Participate in the patients' plan of care
• •Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings
• •Participate in committee meetings
• •Participate in rehabilitation meetings when necessary
• •Discuss findings as needed with attending physician, consulting staff, and medical service providers
• •Review the results of tests and procedures
• •Make notations and changes in patients' plans or orders according to the protocols established mutually between the ARNP and the supervising physician
• •Perform mental status exams
• •Continually monitor the health care services provided
• •Change orders as necessary to meet the individual patient needs according to protocols
• •Interact with patients' family members, as needed
• •Emergency duty
• •Working in Red Cross shelters
• •Perform other emergency duties including, but not limited to, responses to threats or disasters, man-made or natural
• •Perform emergency response and management duties for Palm Beach County as required
