Job Summary
Deliver in-home nursing care for pediatric and young adult patients in Sarasota and Venice, FL. Responsibilities include maintaining updated clinical records, evaluating the effectiveness of nursing service, consulting with physicians regarding care plan changes, mentoring and coaching new employees during orientations, educating patients and their caregivers on care needs, participating in FFHC Quality Assurance/Performance Improvement programs, ensuring compliance with Nurse Practice Acts and organizational policies, and completing mandatory training. Role requires LPN/LVN licensure, nursing degree, valid driver license, CPR, background screening, and travel to patients\' homes. Shifts may vary (8, 10, or 12 hours) with FT, PT, and PRN options; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), PTO, EAP, weekly pay, and opportunities for promotion and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- LPN/LVN Nursing Degree
- Unencumbered LPN/LVN License in the state of employment or Multi-State license through eNLC
- 1 year of demonstrated experience
- Valid driver license with proof of insurance
- Clear background screening
- Working knowledge of Nurse Practice Acts
- Valid and current CPR card/certificate with in person instructor led hands on skills check
- Hep B Screening in applicable states
- TB Screening in applicable states
