Job Summary
Advanced Practice Providers with pediatric or urgent care/ER experience join PM Pediatric Care to evaluate and treat pediatric patients in urgent care, including both in-person and telemedicine visits. APPs provide evidence-based treatment across a range of acute pediatric conditions, perform urgent care procedures (abscess drainage, foreign body removal, laceration repair with sutures, staples, and dermal adhesive), obtain and provide preliminary radiograph interpretations with radiologist over-reads when applicable, oversee daily operations and patient flow, collaborate with on-site and telemedicine teams, ensure safety, HIPAA compliance, and participate in ongoing training and professional development. Required qualifications include an active ANCC or NCCPA certification, RN and NP/PA licensure for treating states, an MSN or doctoral nursing degree or master's PA studies, and at least 1–2 years of pediatric APP experience, with EMR proficiency (eCW preferred). Compensation ranges from $65–$100/hour depending on location and experience.
Required Qualifications
- Active ANCC Board Certification or NCCPA Certification
- Active RN (if applicable) and NP/PA state license for each state where treating patients
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Master of Physician Assistant Studies
- Minimum 2 years of independent pediatric clinical experience as an APP (outside of rotations) or at least 1 year in urgent care or emergency medicine
- Excellent computer skills and EMR experience (eCW experience preferred)
- Ability to think critically, multitask, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
