Job Summary
Advanced Practice Provider for pediatric urgent care with responsibilities including evaluating and treating acute injuries and illnesses in-person and via telemedicine; performing procedural care (abscess drainage, laceration repair), taking radiographs with preliminary reads, and coordinating daily patient flow with on-site and telemedicine teams. Eligible providers will support efficient urgent care operations, uphold HIPAA and safety standards, engage in evidence-based pediatric care, and contribute to antibiotic stewardship and patient experience initiatives. Requires MSN/Doctoral in Nursing or MSN-PA (or equivalent) and active pediatric-focused licensure with ANCC RN/NP-PA credentials; pediatric care experience strongly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active ANCC Board Certification
- Active RN (if applicable) and NP/PA state license for each state where treating patients
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Master of Physician Assistant Studies required
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and nonverbally
- Pediatric experience required; Pediatric ER, Pediatric Hospitalist, or Pediatrics Urgent Care Experience preferred
