Job Summary
Evaluate and provide evidence-based treatment to pediatric patients in urgent care settings, including in-person and telemedicine visits. Manage acute injuries and illnesses such as febrile infants, respiratory distress, and anaphylaxis while performing procedures like abscess drainage and laceration repair. Interpret radiographs with over-reads and oversee daily operations, patient flow, and staff for both in-person and telemedicine visits. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, HIPAA regulations, and quality standards while collaborating with on-site and telemedicine teams. No overnight shifts; flexible scheduling available from 12 to 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Pediatric experience
- Active ANCC Board Certification or NCCPA Certification
- Active RN (if applicable) and NP/PA state license for each state where treating patients
- Master of Science in Nursing or Doctoral degree in Nursing or Master of Physician Assistant Studies
- Minimum 2 years of independent pediatric clinical experience as an APP (outside of rotations) or at least 1 year in urgent care or emergency medicine
- Ability to think critically, multitask, and work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent computer skills and experience with EMR
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric ER, General Pediatrics, or Urgent Care Experience preferred
- eCW experience preferred
