Job Summary
Lead the pediatric trauma program as Trauma Medical Director within CHOC Specialists, overseeing pediatric trauma/critical care with academic research leadership. The role involves collaboration with hospital administration, university leadership, and local trauma partners; teaching and mentoring fellows, residents, and students; and directing the full scope of pediatric surgery including minimally invasive, cancer, neonatal, GI, non-cardiac thoracic, and oncology surgery. Requires board-certified pediatric surgeon, eligibility for an unrestricted California medical license, and a strong track record or clear potential in trauma leadership and scholarly activity. Academic and research involvement is supported with a full-time clinical research coordinator and a biostatistician, with opportunities for protected research time. Required Qualifications
- Board-certified pediatric surgeon
