Job Summary
Pediatric Surgery Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant needed for locum tenens coverage at two inpatient sites in Salt Lake City. Schedule Mon-Fri 12-hour day shifts (0600-1800) and night shifts (1800-0600). Procedures include drain removals, chest tubes, surgically placed drains (Blake, JP, Penrose), gastric tube replacement, dilation of gastrostomy tracts, repair of simple lacerations, anal dilations, rectal irrigations; and first assist in OR when needed. EMR Epic. Certifications: board certified; BLS, PALS, NRP. Licensure: Utah license preferred; Interstate Medical Licensure Compact accepted. Credentialing timeframe 45-60 days.
