Pediatric Speech Therapist, SLP

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and assessments for pediatric clients with autism, treating disorders in articulation, fluency, voice, receptive/expressive language, feeding, and social communication. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans while collaborating closely with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic, coordinated care. Work in clinic settings, and potentially in-home or community settings as needed, contributing to client documentation including evaluations, progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Partner with ABA and behavioral support staff on AAC device assessments and implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in the area of speech-language pathology or communication disorders from an accredited institution
- Current licensure or eligible for licensure for the state in which you work
- Knowledge of HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) practices and the ASHA ethical code with strict adherence to these policies
- Valid drivers license with reliable transportation
- Ability to move freely, quickly, and frequently from a seated position (on the floor or in a chair) to a standing position as well as the ability to lift items up to 50 lbs. on occasion

Desired Qualifications
- Speech Language Pathologist holding a Certificate in Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC) in good standing with ASHA
