Pediatric Speech Therapist

Job Summary
Provide speech-language pathology services for children in a clinic-based pediatric therapy setting. Conduct evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans targeting receptive/expressive language, articulation, fluency, voice, and swallowing disorders. Utilize play-based and culturally responsive interventions to engage children and foster communication skills. Collaborate with families to equip them with home-based techniques, maintain detailed clinical records, and participate in clinical meetings, professional development, and research opportunities. Opportunities for leadership, supervision of clinical fellows and graduate students, and pathways for career advancement are available within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team. Location: Plymouth, MI; Schedule typically Monday–Friday, 9am–6pm with no nights or weekends. Compensation is annual salary based on experience, with potential productivity bonuses and comprehensive benefits, including a $2,500 sign-on bonus for full-time with a two-year commitment.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- ASHA CCC-SLP certification (or Clinical Fellow eligibility) AND/OR State license as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
- No travel required; clinic-based services
- Active & Engaged Work – kneeling, bending and play at ground level
- Lifting up to 50+ lbs may be required
- Ability to respond to elopement or aggressive actions in a dynamic setting
- Experience with pediatric therapy across language, articulation, voice, and swallowing domains
Desired Qualifications
