Job Summary
Speech Language Pathologist (independent contractor) provides evaluations, assessments, and ongoing therapy for children birth to three in natural environments (home, daycare, park, etc.) as part of a multidisciplinary core team. Responsibilities include screenings, planning, and delivering services in collaboration with families, medical providers, and community representatives; participate in Core Team meetings and Individual Family Service Plan meetings; flexible availability including evenings or weekends; travel to attend meetings and provide services in and around the Central Phoenix/Mesa, AZ area.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech Therapy
- Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Must have or be able to obtain AzEIP standards of practice for Early Interventionists within three years of start date
- Background check and Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Ability to work in-home and clinical settings including travel to meet clients
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills is a plus
