Job Summary
Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join the ESIT Team serving Tacoma and Pierce County. Conduct family-centered screenings/evaluations, implement IFSPs, provide caregiver coaching in home/telehealth, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary ESIT team to support healthy development and culturally sustaining practices. Requires WA SLP license and ASHA Certification; CPR/First Aid; strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills. Onsite, full-time role with compensation detailed in the posting. Responsibilities emphasize family-centered practice, culturally relevant services, and alignment with IDEA Part B & C processes.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in speech and hearing sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university
- Must have or obtain a SLP license in the State of Washington
- Must have or obtain ASHA Certification
- Current CPR and First Aid certification, required
- Strong communication skills
- Organized and detail oriented
- Collaborative and participatory
- Demonstrated the ability to include, value, respect, and engage perspectives that cross cultural backgrounds
