PEDIATRIC SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Conduct comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and evidence-based treatments for pediatric patients with communication disorders in a hospital-based outpatient setting. Establish functional goals with families, develop individualized plans of care, and implement interventions while directing licensed and non-licensed staff. Manage documentation, discharge summaries, and accurate billing including charge entry, modifiers, and corrections. Maintain infection control standards, provide patient education, and discharge patients when skilled therapy is no longer appropriate. Adhere to Massachusetts licensing requirements and South Shore Health policies while demonstrating ongoing professional development and supervision of clinical students.
