Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments for pediatric patients with communication disorders within a hospital-based outpatient setting. Establish functional goals in collaboration with patients and families, then implement evidence-based treatment interventions and discharge plans. Manage licensed and non-licensed staff, including rehab aides and volunteers, while adhering to Massachusetts licensing standards and infection control protocols. Complete accurate documentation, charge entry, and modifier application to ensure compliance with insurance parameters. Maintain ongoing professional development through supervision of clinical students and attendance at conferences.
Required Qualifications
- MS in Speech Language Pathology from accredited school
- SLP - Speech Language Pathologist
- Maintain active license to practice Speech Therapy in Massachusetts
- Maintain active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology in Massachusetts
