PEDIATRIC SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments for pediatric patients with communication disorders within a hospital-based outpatient setting. Establish functional goals with families, develop individualized plans of care, and implement evidence-based interventions while directing licensed staff and volunteers. Manage documentation, discharge summaries, and accurate billing modifiers to ensure compliance with insurance parameters and departmental standards. Maintain infection control protocols, provide patient education, and discharge services when skilled therapy is no longer appropriate. Adhere to Massachusetts licensure requirements and professional behaviors, including timely communication and ongoing professional development.
Required Qualifications
- MS in Speech Language Pathology from accredited school
- SLP - Speech Language Pathologist
- Maintain active license to practice Speech Therapy in Massachusetts
- Maintain active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology in Massachusetts
