PEDIATRIC SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments for pediatric patients with communication disorders within a hospital-based outpatient setting. Establish realistic, measurable goals in collaboration with patients and families, then develop and implement evidence-based plans of care including home exercise programs. Direct licensed and non-licensed staff, manage discharge processes, and ensure strict adherence to infection control, patient safety, and Massachusetts licensing standards. Maintain accurate documentation, perform precise charging and modifier application, and meet productivity standards while utilizing new technology. Engage in ongoing professional development, supervise clinical students, and demonstrate dependability in meeting department scheduling needs.
Required Qualifications
- MS in Speech Language Pathology from accredited school
- SLP - Speech Language Pathologist
- Maintain active license to practice Speech Therapy in Massachusetts
- Maintain active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology in Massachusetts
