PEDIATRIC SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments for pediatric patients with communication disorders within a hospital-based outpatient setting. Establish functional goals in collaboration with patients and families, then implement evidence-based treatment interventions and home exercise programs. Manage patient discharge when skilled therapy is no longer appropriate while ensuring infection control and patient safety standards are met. Complete all documentation, discharge summaries, and charge entries accurately, applying appropriate modifiers and correcting errors as needed. Maintain an active Massachusetts Speech-Language Pathology license and Certificate of Clinical Competency. Meet established productivity standards and embrace technological advances to communicate information effectively.
Required Qualifications
- MS in Speech Language Pathology from accredited school
- SLP - Speech Language Pathologist
- Maintain active license to practice Speech Therapy in Massachusetts
- Maintain active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology in Massachusetts

- Previous clinical experience/rehabilitation experience
