PEDIATRIC SPEECH LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive evaluations, re-evaluations, and treatments for pediatric patients with communication disorders within a hospital-based outpatient setting. Establish functional goals in collaboration with patients and families, develop plans of care including follow-up frequency, and implement evidence-based treatment interventions. Provide initial and ongoing patient education, home exercise programs, and compassionate discharge planning when skilled therapy is no longer appropriate. Manage documentation, charge entry, and modifier application while adhering to insurance parameters and infection control standards. Direct licensed and non-licensed staff, supervise clinical students, and maintain active Massachusetts licensure and CCC credentials.
Required Qualifications
- MS in Speech Language Pathology from accredited school
- SLP - Speech Language Pathologist
- Maintain active license to practice Speech Therapy in Massachusetts
- Maintain active Certificate of Clinical Competency in Speech-Language Pathology in Massachusetts
