Job Summary
Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient needs. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders and create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers. Coordinate care between various providers while completing weekly patient visits and meeting deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs. Adhere to agency policies and all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Maintain understanding of expectations through regular meetings with agency personnel.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas
- An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability
- Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
