Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient needs. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders and create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers. Collaborate with various providers to coordinate care within the medical neighborhood. Complete a minimum number of weekly patient visits and meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs. Adhere to all agency policies, state/federal regulations, and ethical guidelines while maintaining communication with agency personnel regarding care standards. Requires an active Texas Speech Language Pathology license and flexibility to shift resources based on business needs. Mileage reimbursement and company-issued laptop provided.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
- 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
