Job Summary
Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist provides Speech and Language Therapy services for children and adolescents under medical prescription in an outpatient setting. Role involves administering therapy per state regulation and hospital standards, with per diem hours (Monday–Friday, no weekends) at the Mayer Center, Portland, CT. Preferred candidates have EMR experience and 3–5 years of clinical experience; licensure or eligibility to practice in Connecticut is required. The center focuses on a range of developmental disorders and offers a dedicated space for PT, OT, ST, and ABA, plus a sensory gym. Benefits are offered through Middlesex Health as part of a Magnet-designated, Mayo Clinic Network-affiliated system.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Speech Language Pathology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the State of Connecticut
- Experience with electronic medical charting (preferred)
- 3-5 years’ clinical experience (preferred)
- Flexibility with scheduling
