Job Summary
Per diem Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist administers Speech and Language Therapy services under medical prescription in outpatient settings at Middlesex Health's Mayer Center in Portland, CT. Responsibilities include providing therapy to children and adolescents with developmental challenges, documenting in electronic medical records, and adhering to state practice acts and hospital quality standards. Minimum qualifications include a graduate of an accredited School of Speech Language Pathology and licensure eligibility in Connecticut; preferred qualifications include 3-5 years of clinical experience and EMR familiarity. Schedule is Monday–Friday between 8am and 7pm with no weekend shifts. The Mayer Center offers a multidisciplinary environment with dedicated spaces for PT, OT, ST, and ABA, plus a sensory gym.
