Job Summary
Provide individualized pediatric speech and language therapy in the home setting, evaluating children to develop care plans and implementing treatments tailored to each child's needs. Monitor progress, adjust care plans as permitted by scope, and educate parents to maximize carryover between visits. Collaborate with caregivers, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team while completing accurate clinical documentation. Build meaningful relationships with families throughout their care journey. Work in the Dallas–Fort Worth area with flexible scheduling options including full-time, part-time, and PRN roles.
Required Qualifications
- Speech-Language Pathologist or Clinical Fellow
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist license or appropriate Texas intern license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Meets Texas education and clinical requirements for practice as an SLPA
- Current Texas Speech-Language Pathologist Assistant license
- Ability to provide treatment under the supervision and direction of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
- Current CPR certification or willingness to obtain it
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to travel within an assigned service area
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Dependable, compassionate, and family-centered approach to care
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical Fellows may be considered based on supervision and mentorship availability
- Pediatric or home health experience is preferred but not required
- Feeding experience or an interest in developing feeding skills is a plus but not required
- New graduates may be considered based on mentorship and support availability
