Job Summary
Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist provides Speech and Language Therapy to children and adolescents in an outpatient rehabilitation setting under medical prescription, aligning with State regulations and hospital quality standards. Responsibilities include administering therapy services, coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team, documenting progress in electronic medical records, and supporting development and self-regulation through structured interventions in a pediatric population. Minimum requirements include graduating from an accredited School of Speech Language Pathology and licensure or eligibility to practice in Connecticut; preferred qualifications include EMR experience and 3-5 years of clinical practice, with scheduling flexibility. The Mayer Center serves patients with developmental challenges using dedicated treatment areas and a sensory gym to address a wide range of needs; this role is based in Portland, CT with per diem hours Monday through Friday (8am–7pm, no weekends).
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Speech Language Pathology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the State of Connecticut
