Job Summary
The Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist administers Speech and Language Therapy services under medical prescription in accordance with Hospital regulation, State of Connecticut Practice Act and quality standards. The Mayer Center provides care for children and adolescents with developmental challenges across PT/OT/ST/ABA with a sensory gym, and the role supports a per diem schedule in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. Responsibilities/cocus include evaluating and treating pediatric speech, language, and communication disorders, coordinating care within a multidisciplinary team, and maintaining documentation in electronic medical records. Preferred qualifications include EMR experience and 3–5 years of clinical experience; flexibility with scheduling. Benefits are provided as part of Middlesex Health.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Speech Language Pathology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure to practice in the State of Connecticut
