Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist

Job Summary
Evaluate and conduct medically prescribed speech therapy for pediatric patients in home health settings, including screenings, evaluations of language and motor skills, and direct treatment. Direct patients and caregivers in selected tasks to reinforce performance while maintaining appropriate communication regarding progress and home programs. Coordinate patient care with office staff and physicians, manage supplies, and refer families to external resources as needed. Maintain adequate caseloads, participate in Quality Assurance and mentoring activities, and attend continuing education. Requires a Master's degree, current licensure, and valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred
- Home health experience preferred
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
