Job Summary
Perform comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs, then develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders. Create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers and collaborate with various providers to coordinate care within the medical neighborhood. Complete a minimum weekly number of patient visits and meet deadlines for chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs. Adhere to all agency policies, federal, state, and local laws governing home-health pediatric speech language pathology. Maintain understanding of expectations through regular meetings with agency personnel. Requires an active Texas license, flexibility to shift priorities, and common technology proficiency. Bonus points include 3+ years pediatric experience, home-health background, feeding therapy certifications, and bilingual skills. Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
- 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOFFI, SOS, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
