Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Dumas PRN/Part Time/Full Time

Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patients' needs, then develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders. Create home exercise programs in partnership with caregivers and act as a vital member of the medical neighborhood by coordinating care between various providers. Complete a minimum weekly number of patient visits, meet deadlines for chart updates and progress summaries, and maintain understanding of agency expectations through regular meetings with personnel. Perform all duties in compliance with federal, state, and local laws while adhering to agency policies. Requires an active Texas Speech Language Pathology license, reliability, and flexibility to shift priorities based on business needs. Full-time, part-time, or PRN availability in the Amarillo division.
Required Qualifications
- current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
- Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business
- An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years as a pediatric Speech Language Pathologist
- Experience in a home-health setting
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, etc.)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
