Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist - Clinical Fellow

Job Summary
Evaluate pediatric patients for receptive and expressive language, speech fluency, and articulation skills while conducting medically prescribed therapy in home health settings. Direct patients and caregivers through selected tasks to reinforce performance, coordinate care with office staff, and refer families to appropriate external resources. Maintain accurate records, consult with supervisors on progress, and participate in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement programs. Manage supplies, attend continuing education, and serve as a backup service provider as needed. Requires a Master's degree, current licensure, and pediatric clinical experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current state-issued professional licensure
- Valid state driver license
- CPR certified
- Must be able to lift a minimum of twenty-five pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Pediatric clinical experience preferred
- Home health experience preferred
- Ability to read and write in simple correspondence with effective public speaking in small groups
- Excellent critical thinking and critical thinking skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to interpret instruction with the ability to solve practical problems with a variety of concrete variables
- Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping and routine database activity
- Manage multiple tasks simultaneously
