Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive Speech Therapy evaluations using standardized tests to determine patient needs. Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with physicians' orders and create home exercise programs with caregivers. Collaborate with various providers to coordinate care and complete weekly patient visits as required. Maintain accurate documentation including chart updates, progress summaries, and call logs while adhering to all agency policies, state regulations, and federal laws. Act as a vital member of the medical neighborhood by communicating effectively with agency personnel. Requires an active Texas Speech Language Pathology license, reliability, and flexibility to shift priorities. Full-time or part-time role based in the South Houston Division with access to continuing education and a debt reduction program.
Required Qualifications
- A current/active license to practice Speech Language Pathology in the state of Texas
- An innovative spirit complemented by a demonstrated history of reliability
- Flexibility to shift resources and priorities as necessary, based on the needs of the business
- Ability to use common workplace technology (laptop computer, phone, email, web browser)
Desired Qualifications
- Clinical Externship/Rotation in a home-health setting
- Experience or certifications in feeding therapy or other clinical specialties (VitalStim, SOS, SOFFI, MBSiMP, etc.)
- Bilingual/Multilingual
