Job Summary
Deliver speech therapy interventions under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to support children with communication, feeding, and developmental needs. Implement treatment plans, assist in improving functional independence, and educate families on therapy carryover techniques. Monitor patient progress, report updates to the supervising SLP, coordinate care with clinical team members, and document all services in the EMR while maintaining compliance with clinical standards. This role offers full-time and part-time flexible scheduling for pediatric home health care in the Tyler/Whitehouse area.
Required Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license (Texas)
- Current CPR certification
Desired Qualifications
- At least 1+ year of pediatric or home health experience
- Experience with feeding and swallowing therapy
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
