Job Summary
Part-time per-diem Pediatric Speech and Language Pathologist Consultant in Garden Grove, CA, conducting screenings, evaluations, and crafting tailored treatment plans to improve speech abilities. Responsibilities include providing direct services in home and clinic settings, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, and supporting generalization of skills with families; requires a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, proven experience, and ability to maintain weekly availability (at least 1 full day or 2 half days). Attractive hourly rate of $90 with opportunities to work in Orange County clinics and client homes.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Proven work experience as a Speech Pathologist or similar role
- Provide consistent weekly availability minimum 1 full day or two half days per week
- Strong understanding of speech-related conditions, causes, and treatments
- Excellent coaching, verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with computers, especially patient and healthcare databases
- Attentive and caring with the ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Relevant training and/or certifications as a Speech Pathologist
- Part-Time employment
- Experience with certain conditions or working with specific age groups may be preferred
