Job Summary
Pediatric Cardiology sonographer role performing pediatric and fetal echocardiogram imaging studies (per IAC standards) with accurate reporting to assist physicians in identifying cardiac and physiologic anomalies. Will assist with EKGs and monitor placement (Holter monitors, events), initiate preventive maintenance and coordinate with the department manager on equipment concerns, maintain supply inventory, and operate all cardiac sonography equipment according to quality standards. Requires ARDMS/Cerified registry status or registry eligible with pediatric echo registry within two years, BLS, and ability to travel to multiple clinical locations as needed. Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in Sonography, Cardiovascular technology, nursing or other allied health program
- Minimum of two years of cardiac sonography experience; pediatric/fetal experience preferred
- ARDMS registered or registry eligible or registered as RCS or RCCS by CCI
- BLS certification required
- Ability to work flexible schedule including local travel to other clinical locations as needed
