Job Summary
Drive territory sales goals for Similac and PediaSure products across hospital and office settings in Southern VA and North Carolina. Manage hospital negotiations and contracting while delivering clinical knowledge on protocols and guidelines to physicians, nurses, and dietitians. Lead new product launches and maintain comprehensive product expertise across NICU, PICU, and pharmacy departments. Operate independently with high initiative, managing budgets and driving 2-3 hours within the territory, including 1-2 overnights monthly. Requires a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years of healthcare sales experience combined with clinical background.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of healthcare sales experience
- clinical experience (Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses)
- Stability and proven success in sales
- Subject matter expert and high business acumen
- Knowledge of hospital settings, specifically within pediatrics
- Reside in Chesapeake, Norfolk or Suffolk
- Must be available for 2-3 hours within the territory with ~1-2 overnights/month
- Must be a local candidate (no relocation offered)
- Must be able to drive a personal auto or company car or truck
- Keyboard use (greater or equal to 50% of the workday)
- Ability to function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy
- Desire to be self-motivated, seeking out success at achieving both short- and long-term goals
