Job Summary
Evaluate, treat, and care for pediatric patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders. Plan, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care while providing appropriate patient and family education. Demonstrate evidence of use of the Respiratory Therapy within defined time frames and accurately identify patient and family health care needs. Recognize and respect patient rights in a culturally and religiously sensitive environment. Part-time schedule of 24 hours/week on night shifts. Must be able to work at any site when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education approved program of Respiratory Care
- Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care
- NJ State Respiratory License
- AHA BLS Provider Certification
- Must be able to work at any site when needed
- Able to lift and carry equipment and patients greater than 15 pounds or greater
