Job Summary
Evaluate, treat, and care for pediatric patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders by planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized plans of care. Recognize and address patient and family health care needs while providing culturally and religiously sensitive education. Demonstrate proficiency with the ISTAT blood analysis system and adhere to all departmental policies and procedures. Work part-time, 24 hours per week on night shifts, with the ability to be deployed to any site as needed. Serve as a role model for respiratory therapy students and new employees within an interdisciplinary team structure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education approved program of Respiratory Care
- Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care
- NJ State Respiratory License
- AHA BLS Provider Certification
- Must be able to work at any site when needed
- Able to lift and carry equipment and patients greater than 15 pounds or greater
- Part Time – 24 hours/week
- Night Shift
