Job Summary
Evaluate, treat, and care for pediatric patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders by planning and implementing individualized care plans. Recognize obvious patient and family health care needs while delivering appropriate education within defined time frames. Demonstrate evidence of Respiratory Therapy use and adhere to ISTAT blood analysis system policies. Work night shifts, 24 hours per week, across any site as needed. Lift and carry equipment or patients over 15 pounds while standing most of the day. Serve as a role model to Respiratory students and new employees within an interdisciplinary team structure.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education approved program of Respiratory Care
- Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care
- NJ State Respiratory License
- AHA BLS Provider Certification
- Must be able to work at any site when needed
- Able to lift and carry equipment and patients greater than 15 pounds or greater
