Job Summary
Evaluate, treat, and care for pediatric patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders by planning and implementing individualized plans of care. Recognize and address patient and family health care needs while providing culturally sensitive education within hospital policies. Demonstrate proficiency with the ISTAT blood analysis system and collaborate within an interdisciplinary team structure. Work day shifts, part-time (24 hours/week), at any site as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education approved program of Respiratory Care
- Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care
- NJ State Respiratory License
- AHA BLS Provider Certification
- Must be able to work at any site when needed
- Able to lift and carry equipment and patients greater than 15 pounds or greater
