Job Summary
Evaluate, treat, and care for pediatric patients with breathing or cardiopulmonary disorders by planning and implementing individualized plans of care. Provide patient and family education while recognizing and addressing obvious health care needs in a culturally sensitive environment. Demonstrate proficiency with the ISTAT blood analysis system and promote continuity of respiratory care through interdisciplinary collaboration. Work part-time day shifts totaling 24 hours per week, rotating as needed across any site.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of a Joint Review Committee for Respiratory Therapy Education approved program of Respiratory Care
- Registered Respiratory Therapist from the National Board of Respiratory Care
- NJ State Respiratory License
- AHA BLS Provider Certification
- Must be able to lift and carry equipment and patients greater than 15 pounds
- Day Shift
- Part Time – 24 hours/week
