Job Summary

Pediatric Registered Nurse (RN) – full-time at PM Pediatric Care in Woburn, MA, with potential commuting to the sister office in Saugus as needed. The RN is responsible for direct patient care and support for providers and the office, including taking medical histories and vitals, performing procedures (venipuncture, IV insertion, urinary catheterization), administering medications, assisting physicians, maintaining sterile equipment, and contributing to quality control and patient care initiatives. Requires pediatric experience (ER/urgent care or pediatric unit), active nursing license (or compact license), and BLS (PALS recommended). Must be flexible to rotate through weekend coverage and assist with operations while upholding HIPAA and confidentiality. Compensation range stated: $37-$50/hour. Must be willing to commute to the sister office in Saugus when needed. This is a full-time role with responsibilities spanning clinical and administrative duties, patient flow optimization, and collaboration with care teams to ensure safety, efficiency, and high-quality pediatric care.

Required Qualifications

  • Pediatric experience is required; Pediatric ER, Pediatric hospital unit, or Pediatrics Urgent Care Experience preferred
  • Active state nursing license or active compact state licensure from the state you reside
  • Prior experience and competency with nursing procedures (not limited to IV placement, urinary straight catheterization, and medication administration)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required, Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recommended
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and clinic processes; ability to communicate effectively and maintain patient confidentiality compliant with HIPAA
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced pediatric care environment and participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives
