Job Summary
Provide dedicated, one-on-one care for pediatric patients with high acuity needs in the home, focusing fully on the child and family while utilizing clinical judgment. Manage care plans and physician orders with support from respiratory therapists for training and mentorship. Maintain safety compliance by adhering to CDC guidelines using provided PPE, masks, gloves, and hand sanitizer. Maintain an active Florida RN license, current BLS CPR card, and experience or willingness to train in G-tube, trach, and vent care. Complete required TB testing and the 2-hour DOEA-approved Alzheimer's training course. Request shifts through the employee portal and access 24/7 on-call clinical support.
Required Qualifications
- Current, active Florida RN license
- Current BLS CPR card (obtained in-person, not online)
- G-tube, trach, vent experience, or willing to train
- TB Skin Test (PPD) or TB Blood Test (QF)
- Alzheimer's training - 2 Hour DOEA Approved Course (provided at no cost if needed)
- Hour DOEA Alzheimer's Video (provided free of cost on DOEA website)
